The John Thompson Scholarship Program consists of one scholarship which will be awarded to the one applicant that, in addition to meeting the eligibility criteria, writes the most compelling essay based on the essay guidelines. The yearly scholarship will have a total monetary value of $1,500 USD.

The John Thompson Scholarship will be offered in the winter with the deadline for submissions in December 2025.

To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in their first year of study in a business or marketing program at an accredited college or university. Applicants from all over the world are eligible to apply. Applicants must submit proof of acceptance or enrolment. Failure to provide adequate documentation will result in disqualification.

Only successful applicants of the John Thompson Scholarship Program will be contacted. The scholarship payment will be made directly to the student to be used toward tuition and education-related expenses.

By entering your application for consideration for the John Thompson Scholarship Program, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The decisions of the scholarship program judges shall be deemed final, conclusive, and binding in all matters.

You certify that all the information provided on the application form and in all the accompanying documents is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge. You understand that the provision of false information will render you ineligible for this scholarship.

Any personal and private information provided in applications will not be shared. The selection committee will only use the information provided for purposes of evaluating your application.
